Harun Farocki is a Czech-born German film maker and artist. Deep Play was a multi-channel installation at the 12th Documenta in Kassel in 2007. It showed the multilayered reality of a football game (Italy vs France, 2006 World Cup Final), with cameras showing the game, details of the stadium, the commentators, but also online coverage of the match, digital tracking of the players etc.
