3.1 Phillip Lim is one of those brands that always seems to get it right. Winner of the CFDA award for emerging talent in womenswear in 2007, Phillip Lim’s brand keeps surprising us season after season.
For his A/W 2011 womenswear, Lim was inspired by urban gangs and he takes this idea of the urban world into his menswear collection titled “Weavers” only this time it is not the people he is inspired by but the colours and textures from around the city.
Directed by Andrew Paynter, the video for “Weavers” takes us through a walk around an urban place, which allows the audience to understand the essence of the collection in its most pure form of inspiration.
