Yet another interesting commercial for a perfume campaign. Gaspard Ulliel directed by Martin Scorsese in a short film about finding the love you’ve lost in an unexpected way. It’s interesting that Chanel got Scorsese to do it rather than Karl Lagerfeld, who usually does all the directing for commercials, shoots etc. It’s a nice break, Scorsese combines different styles of film between digital and analogue which breaks the film into different eras and makes the narrative progress fluently.
