Tobey was together with Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko a leading figure in the American Abstract Expressionism movement. With remarkable candor and objectivity, Tobey discusses his work and that of fellow artists including Picasso. His keen wit lends humor and bite to his critiques, and his own vitality and spirit make an important statement on his work and on Art itself. 
Korean artist Do Ho Suh often makes sculptures with ephemeral and ethereal materials like fabric. He likes exploring the universal value of spatial experiences that relate to his own personal space. These sculptures recreate in a 1:1 scale architectural transition spaces such as gateways, corridors or staircases. 
Contemporary photographer Massimo Vitali is one of the most famous photographers belonging to the New Italian Realism movement. Invited by the notebook brand Moleskine, he created a notebook exhibition which details of his large scale images. 
Painter Jackson Pollock was the leading head of American Abstract Expressionism. His complex work, which suffered transformation sometimes abruptly, is mostly recognised for his “Action Painting” technique consisting of laying the canvas on the floor and painting almost as a performing act. Studio Banana TV will be present until 6th October 2010 in the exhibition “Laboratorio Gran Via” curated by Iñaki Abalos, in the Telefónica Foundation located on the Gran Vía street in Madrid. The video-interview with the architectural office AMID.Cero9 will be on display.
