Atmosphere, Joy Division

“Atmosphere” is a sad and beautiful song by the English new wave band Joy Division and was originally released in 1980. This video footage, was released with the song’s  in 1988  by Anton Corbijn when Ian Curtis, the leader of the band has passed away. Corbijn  is one of the most relevant video makers in the history. He has worked with Metallica, Depeche Mode and U2 for several years creating a new format to understand the music clip.  He’s a very famous photographer too and in 2007 he made his first feature film title- Control which was based on Ian Curtis’s biography.
