Flyfire is a interesting concept done by ARES Lab and MIT. They want to make a big display using micro helicopters as pixels, This idea, very difficult to do because they need to synchronize all the helicopters, could allow them to make really interesting solutions, not just art installations, imagine an emergency situation where you need to guide a lot of people and you need signals, or imagine to create a street’s illumination without streetlights, this helicopters just apear o evening and disappear on the mornings…
