Fondation Cartier exhibition, Adriana Varejao

Adriana Varejao is a young but notorious Brazilian artist who revisits the history and identity of her country through an array of media. The traditional blue tiles (azulejos) are ever present in her work, rooting it to the Baroque past. Full of irony and of brutality at the same time, her work can here be seen exhibited at the Fondation Cartier in Paris. Art critic Philippe Sollers comments on her art. All in French.
