“1000″ at Tate Modern, Paola Pivi

Paola Pivi is an Italian artist born in 1971.  Her work is playful, irreverent and sometimes perplexing. Working in a variety of mediums Pivi’s pieces challenge the viewer’s perception and experience, often leading them to question their sense of reality is a performance work by Paola Pivi created especially for UBS Openings: The Long Weekend at Tate Modern. 1000 people screamed once in unison on 25th May 2009.
