Vitrine, Joana Vasconcelo

Joana Vasconcelos is one of Portugal’s best know contemporary artists. Her work generally consists of giant sculptures referring to motifs and symbols of popular culture. Here a video of the set up of “Vitrine, Hotel Station”, a huge hanging sculpture on the façade of a building undergoing refurbishment in central Lisbon.
