spring 2010 RTW, Thakoon

Although New York designers has never been considered the ultimate outstanding trendsetters in the last years we have seen that every season a new talent shows up. This is the case of Thakoon, the newer of the newest designers in NY, who has managed to face off the context of american sportwear and the recesion climate with elegance and  taste. To sumarize, the inspiration of “warrior women”, the overlayering of different fabrics, and the kind-of poetry prints mixed all together give a very interesting collection as a result.
