Spring Summer 2005 (part 2), Alexander McQueen

Second part of the spring/summer 2005 show called “it’s only a game”. Once again it’s admirable the visual concept he’s got when showing off the outfits. Recognizing the youth’s obsession with video games, Alexander McQueen placed 2005’s leisurely preoccupation front and center on the catwalk with a chess game, with a subtle reference to the sci-fi classic “2001: Space Odyssey” when he used the voice of HAL on the soundtrack while the models acted as pawns on a game being orchestrated by unseen players.
